The new game-changing dating app is on a mission to help you find your Most Valuable Partner. Despite the name, this app is not for “playas”. If you’re looking for a hookup, don’t bother joining. This app is exclusively for single young professionals who are looking to find the other half to their power-couple dream team. The League has a wait list of 75,000 people and is highly selective about its lineup.
Once you’ve been chosen, it’s playoff time! Unlike other dating apps, The League sends its members just five matches per day, giving you quality over quantity. The app is linked to a member’s Facebook and LinkedIn profiles so you can check out his or her stats all in one place. Your profile is also hidden from business contacts, coworkers and Facebook friends so there is no shame in playing the game.
Amanda Bradford, CEO and founder of the app, says this app is more for people with ambition and passion and is not for everybody. The app first launched in November and already has 5,500 members. So far, the app is only active in San Francisco, however, fans can download the app and receive news updates on when The League launches in their town.
