OTMM’s Marc Silverstein Testifies for Funding of the Small Business Development Center
On The Marc Media’s Marc Silverstein is in the spotlight in an effort to help small business development in Maryland. Silverstein testified in Annapolis before the House of Delegates Economic Matters Committee in favor of House Bill 1254, which helps fund the Small Business Development Center. On The Marc Media is proud to be associated with SBDC, which helps small businesses by providing educational programs and free business counselors. In front of the committee, Silverstein shared his recent experience being part of SBDC-run 12-week CEO Accelerator class—which he likens to a small business owner boot camp. It helped provide practical solutions to many of the problems facing small businesses, including setting and achieving realistic goals, better identifying customers and figuring out ways to increase profits. The SBDC continues to provide On The Marc Media and other small businesses with many of the tools necessary to make an ordinary business a great one.
