Spout might be just what you need to liven up your mobile feed. The iPhone app is a passive Twitter, Facebook and news streaming system that that displays all your social media updates and messages in weird and wonderful ways. That’s right–weird and wonderful. The exact opposite of boring and basic, which is how you’ve been receiving your updates up until now.

Simply put, Spout speaks your stream. Words flow onto your iPhone or iPad, whimsically twirling and scrolling across the screen before being replaced by the newest update. If you tap on a feed, you’re led to the source through a built-in browser. Here’s what a Tweet looks like:
