On The Marc Media’s Tour of Pinterest
Thumbtacks and corkboards are a thing of the past with the introduction of the newest social media site, Pinterest. Instead of cutting out your favorite products from magazines and pinning them to a board on your wall, you can do it virtually!
Intrigued? Here’s a quick 5-step crash course in pinning
-
-
- 1. Go to Pinterest.com. Install the “Pin It” button on your browser.
-
- 2. Surf the web.
-
- 3. See something you like? Click Pin It!
-
Hurry! Think of a tag line! You’re going to need to write a little blurb about the product you like.
-
- 4. Share your new pin with your Pinterest, Facebook and Twitter followers on your boards.
-
- 5. Rinse and Repeat.
As you pin and re-pin, you will accumulate followers and in-turn begin following new people with similar interests or products.
