Dress Like Draper: Mad Men Props on the Auction Block

Don Draper from Mad Men has gone off to syndication heaven, but his cool Ray-Ban sunglasses could live on in your possession. Nearly 1400 items from the iconic AMC show are up for bids in an online auction by Screenbid that starts today at 3pm Eastern. Winners find out what it will cost them starting August 6.

Among the items that could make you at least an honorary partner at Sterling, Cooper, Draper, Pryce, Don’s super sleek 1965 Cadillac Coupe DeVille (starting bid: $1500), Joan Harris’ business card (after she “made it” to make partner), and even Megan Draper’s wedding ring. There are also plenty of Mad Men furnishings, office accessories and of course, ashtrays and vintage barware. No word on if they all smell of TV cigarettes and booze, but that would help confirm their authenticity.

One warning note: All winning bids will have an additional 24 percent buyer’s premium added after closing. Ouch! That’s enough to stop the world from singing in perfect harmony.
