18 By The 28th: On The Marc Media’s Campaign to Give Hope to Holocaust Survivors in Need
Did you know that of the 75,000 Holocaust survivors living in the United States today, one-third live below the poverty line? It’s a mind-boggling statistic that defies reason. How can people who have been through so much be allowed to continue to suffer?
On The Marc Media has teamed up with New York-based The Blue Card, a charity that exclusively helps Holocaust survivors, to do something about this problem.
In the video below, Marc Silverstein explains why we’ve decided to embark on an ambitious campaign to raise much-needed funds for impoverished survivors. You can get all the details about our 18 by the 28th campaign on Crowdrise or here.
From now until April 28 – Holocaust Remembrance Day – we’re spreading the word as we try to raise at least $18,000 for needy Holocaust survivors. We’ve made donating easy. Visit our 18 by the 28th Crowdrise page to make your contribution today and help us make a difference in their lives.
