Still Stalking?: How to Delete Your Creepy Facebook Search History

With features like “See Friendship” and “Photos of You”, Facebook is a great way to walk down memory lane.

Facebook will also remind you how much of a stalker you are. Take a look at your Search history.

“Facebook keeps my search history?”

Yes. Facebook never forgets.

On your profile, click the ‘Activity Log’ button at the bottom right of your Cover Photo. Then, click ‘More’ in the left side bar. Now, click ‘Search’.

What do you see? You don’t have to tell us. We know you are in panic!

Simmer down. Your Facebook search history is private. Searching your ex’s new boy/girlfriend is between you and Mark Zuckerberg .

If you are still paranoid your search history will be exposed, delete and clear.

To delete one item from your search history, click on the hidden symbol to the right of the lock symbol on entry you want to magically disappear. Click ‘remove’, and it is gone for good!

To clear your entire search history, click ‘Clear Searches’ in the upper right corner of the webpage.
