Tech Tuesday: Primer App
If you’re busy with your startup, you barely have a moment to sleep much less market like the pros. I mean, who has the time to Google pay-per-click or SEO or other fancy sounding terms. Well, as it turns out, Google does. And to make it easy, they’ve launched the “Primer” app, a nifty little business app that teaches you to be more “marketing literate.”
The app offers five-minute (or less) marketing lessons, helping users get primed on features like search engine marketing, content marketing, and media coverage. Primer also uses case studies, insider tips and interactive quizzes to help startups promote their businesses, increase customer base and avoid common mistakes. Talk about a business life-hack. It’s virtually an MBA on your phone (IOS only, Android soon).
Each Primer lesson includes optional follow-up email activities to put the users’ new marketing expertise to the test. Next thing you know, you’re using many of Google’s cool marketing ad-tech options to promote your business, which is exactly why it created “Primer” in the first place. Business for you means more business for them.
