Seinfeld on Facebook: It’s about Something
Shrinkage certainly isn’t an issue for Jerry Seinfeld–not when he’s discovered the impact social media has on the audience size for his popular web series Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee. Season 5 of the online show just premiered, and Seinfeld discovered a great way to promote it (besides wearing a puffy pirate shirt) is by posting updates to Facebook. Seinfeld, who has only been on the social media site since May 2012, just posted a thank you note of sorts to Facebook creator Mark Zuckerberg. Seinfeld’s message: the site is no low-talker when it comes to delivering views. Here’s what he wrote:
Below Seinfeld’s message, the results of a promoted post for the new episode, featuring comedian Kevin Hart. Yadda, yadda, skip to the numbers: it was seen by more than 12.2 million viewers. In addition, there are more than 300-thousand likes and 5.6 thousand comments.
Those kind of traffic results are worth celebrating, during Festivus of course. In case you haven’t watched the Kevin Hart CCC, take a spin here:
