On The Marc Media Gets Up Close And Personal At Inauguration

This past Monday, On the Marc Media’s Sarah Vammen and Shruti Shah attended the 57th Annual Presidential Inauguration. It  was great to be a part of history with 800,000 of our closest friends.  President Obama’s inauguration was longer than George W. Bush’s second inauguration but shorter than Bill Clinton’s second inauguration. Did you know who had the shortest inaugural address in history?  George Washington.  His speech for his second inaugural address on March 4, 1793 was only 135 words.

Since we live and work in the D.C metro area, we couldn’t pass up being a part of history.  The inauguration was awe-inspiring for us and apparently the president as well.   Later that night we watched the news and saw President Obama turn around and take one last long look at the massive cheering crowd before leaving he left the stage.

Beyonce looked and sounded incredible.  It was a little hard to tell from our vantage point if she was lip-syncing.   We did run into one other celebrity.  Find out who when you look through our pictures below.
